I just logged out, cleared caches, registered a new user, received the email (using email activation) and activated the account, logged into the forum, and posted two new threads with a single post each. There was no mention of moderation. Then I logged out, and logged back in as an Admin. There was a notification of new posts, but no moderation was mentioned. I logged out of the forum, then viewed the forum like a guest or non-member would see it, and I could see one of the posts from my new test user. The other post was placed in a forum that is only visible to members.
